Land at Uffculme, Devon

Neal and Richard worked together on promoting the site for 90 dwellings through the planning system. Neal successfully challenged Mid Devon District Council’s five-year land supply position through the appeal process.

A public inquiry was held in February 2016, with Giles Cannock of Kings Chambers instructed by Neal. The Inspector reported back in April 2016 concluding that the proposed development was sustainable and should be approved. The appeal decision can be found opposite.

The site has been purchased by Devon and Cornwall Housing who will be submitting a Reserved Matters Application for 90 dwellings.
